Processed Honey versus Raw Honey

Another way to test if your honey is pure or raw is to burn it. Take a small piece of paper and roll it up. Immerse one end into the honey you want to test.
Put a flame to the honey end and if it doesn’t burn, it is processed. If it does create a small flame on the honey immersed end, it is pure or raw honey.
Another way to tell if your honey is raw, or if it is processed is to pour a small amount of the honey on to your finger. Your thumb nail works best. If when you pour the honey on your finger it rolls off, it is processed honey.
If, when you pour a bit of honey on your finger and it stays together, and doesn’t slide off the side, it is raw or pure honey.
