What is in Organic Coffee?

What is in organic coffee
What is in organic coffee is far superior than what is in regular coffee.

If you have often wondered, as I have, what is in organic coffee, you have come to the right place.

Coffee is a drink that is enjoyed by countless millions of people every day across the globe. The amount of business and revenues that coffee generates is mind boggling.

What is in organic coffee is an important question. Perhaps an even more important question is, what is not in organic coffee. I will explore both, what is in organic coffee, and what is not in organic coffee.

By doing so, I hope to reveal the importance of knowing the ingredients in your morning Joe. In other words, to ask what is organic coffee, we have to find out what actually makes coffee organic.

I will also reveal the negative aspects of drinking coffee, as well as the positive aspects of drinking coffee, as it relates to your health. I think you may be surprised what I have discovered about how drinking java affects your health and longevity.

What is Organic Coffee?

What is in organic coffee
Organic coffee is free from contaminants found in regular coffee.

Organic coffee is, according to the USDA, the United States Department of Agriculture, coffee that utilizes sustainable agricultural techniques in it’s growth processes.

These growth methods include the conservation of water, and soil, to sustain the environmental quality for generations to come.

Organic coffee is lacking some 150 ingredients considered impure that regular coffee may include.

Organic coffee is produced without using synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, ionizing radiation, sewage sludge, or bio engineering such as GMO, genetic modification.

Specific procedures and processes are used for organic coffee.  Organic coffee is packaged, and shipped apart from regular coffee.  In order to earn the USDA Certified label, organic coffee is directly certified by, and under the auspices of the USDA.

The USDA has representatives throughout the world. In order to be sold in the US as organic, foreign coffee growers have to achieve the USDA organic label. These strict standard ensure that these coffees are reliably organic.

A USDA certified inspector inspects the farms where the coffee is grown to be sure the farmer/grower is following all of the requirements and standards needed before the product can have the organic designation.

Any companies that process, and/or handle the organic coffee before it is delivered to your favorite store or restaurant must also be certified by the USDA.

The vast majority of the consumed coffee in North America (Canada, and the US) is not grown in North America.  The only state in the U.S. where coffee is grown in significant quantities is Hawaii.

Hawaii’s ideal climate, and rich, fertile volcanic soil provide near perfect conditions to produce some of the best coffees on earth.

These strict processes that are used to produce organic coffee ensure that the smell and taste will exceed that of regular coffee that contain many impurities.

Healthy organic coffee is also picked at the optimum time, using only the best varieties, and with great care used in processing.

Many countries also accept the Bio Latina certification of organic coffee.

What is not in Organic Coffee?

What is not in organic coffee
Toxic chemicals are not found in organic coffee.

What is not in organic coffee, or put another way, what is in regular coffee? There are often as many as 150 or more impurities in non organic or regular coffee.

These impurities may include pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, coloring agents, microorganisms, viruses, colloidal particles, suspended particles, dissolved gases, pyrogens, dissolved organic compounds, and dissolved inorganic ions.

In addition toxins such as mycotoxins which are present in molds on the coffee bean, can be present. Another toxin called ochratoxin, which can cause human neuron cells to degenerate, and die are often found in dry processed coffees.

Neurons are found in the brain, and nervous system.  Toxic metals such as zinc, mercury, beryllium, and aluminum have also been identified.

Other chemical contaminants such as furon, acrylamide, and PAH’s have been found in food processed coffee. As many as 1000 different chemicals, most having deleterious effects, have been identified in regular coffee.

How Healthy is Coffee?

What is in organic coffee
Drinking organic coffee can be quite healthy.

Despite all of the negatives of drinking regular coffee, there are many positives, especially with organic coffee. Some of the positive aspects of drinking organic coffee are:

1. An easing of the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease based on drinking 2 to 4 cups of coffee per day.

2. Rich anti-oxidant content. Roasted coffee surprisingly provides more of these benefits than raw coffee.

3. Good for the liver. Coffee drinking provides some benefits for the liver, yet coffee enemas can detox the liver.

4. Colon cancer prevention. Drinking one or two cups per day has proven to reduce the risk of colon cancer by half or 50%.

5. Alzheimers disease prevention.  A 65% less chance of developing Alzheimers disease later in life by drinking 3 to 5 cups  of coffee per day in mid life, was the result of a recent study.

6.  Adult Onset or Type 2 diabetes prevention has been discovered due to coffee’s significant anti-oxidant content, especially the anti-oxidant chlorogenic acid.

7.  Inflammation reduction. Polyphenols, another potent anti-oxidant found in coffee, can help lower inflammation in the body.

8.  Relief for Migraine headaches. The caffeine in coffee, often considered a negative, can help relieve the symptoms of             migraine headaches. This is due to caffeine’s ability to limit blood flow to the brain by constricting blood vessels.

9.  Lower risk of Asthma attacks. Relief for asthma sufferers is realized as a result of the broncho-dilator effect that drinking       coffee has on airways.

How Unhealthy is Coffee?

What is in organic coffee
Regular coffee can be an unhealthy drink.

Some of the negatives of drinking regular coffee are:

1. Coffee punishes the Adrenal glands. The caffeine in coffee stimulates, and often over stimulates the adrenal glands,         which are our energy glands. This over stimulation or flogging of the adrenals can actually cause us to be more tired, and        have less energy over time with the continual drinking of coffee.  In addition, the resulting low levels of adrenaline can cause and/or increase anxiety in some people.

2. Causes a cancerous environment in the body. Regular, heavy coffee drinking can create a carcinogenic atmosphere, and        present a risk of the development of certain cancers. Hot coffee creates acrylamide, an agent that is known to cause                cancer.

3. Coffee is a diuretic. Drinking coffee can drain the body of much needed water, which can be problematic if these lower            hydration levels are not replenished.

4. Raises blood pressure levels. Drinking large amounts of coffee can increase blood pressure due to coffee’s caffeine              content.

5. Causes insomnia. Drinking caffeinated coffee late in the day can often make it difficult, if not impossible to go off to sleep.

6. Can worsen kidney issues. Those with kidney disease can experience an intensification due to the potassium content            that is present in coffee.

What is in Organic Coffee is Generally Healthy

What is in organic coffee
Organic coffee is high in anti-oxidants, and helps many health conditions.

Organic coffee is, according to the USDA, the United States Department of Agriculture, coffee that utilizes sustainable agricultural practices in it’s growth processes. These growth methods include the conservation of water, and soil, to sustain the environmental quality for generations to come.

Organic coffee contains primarily healthy ingredients. Organic coffee does not contain most of the unhealthy ingredients, and contaminants that are found in many regular coffees.

Roasted coffee is higher in anti-oxidants than raw coffee and can help prevent or improve many health conditions such as Alzheimers, Type ll diabetes, Asthma, and Parkinson’s disease.  The caffeine in coffee can actually benefit those suffering from migraine headaches.

The contaminants found in regular coffee include many chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, coloring agents, microorganisms, viruses, colloidal particles, suspended particles, dissolved gases, pyrogens, dissolved organic compounds, and dissolved inorganic ions.

In addition, many toxins are found in coffee including molds like mycotoxins. The negative aspects of drinking regular coffee can be quite numerous.

Caffeinated coffee is a diuretic, can flog the adrenals, raise blood pressure, and create a carcinogenic atmosphere in the body.

By consuming organic coffee moderately, instead of consuming regular coffee, you will enjoy more of the profound health benefits that coffee provides, and be subjected to fewer of it’s negative ingredients and effects.

What is in Walnuts

What is in walnuts?
Walnuts are considered a super food.

Have you ever wondered what is in walnuts? I know that I have wondered what is in walnuts. Are walnuts a super food? The answer may surprise you.

Walnuts have been eaten, and otherwise utilized in foods, to make French cheese, as an oil, as a snack, added to many recipes, as well as used as a stand alone medicine for thousands of years.

I will explain the different types of walnuts, where they originated, what is in walnuts as far as it’s nutritional profile, which is substantial. In addition I will let you know what health conditions walnuts have shown to improve or otherwise benefit.

Interestingly, the shape and appearance of the walnut gives an indication of the parts of the body that it benefits the most.

The walnut tree in addition to yielding tasty, nutritious nuts, provides wood that is often used to make attractive, sturdy furniture, artistic carvings, and other objects for the home, and workshop.

Types of Walnuts

What is in walnuts
Walnuts are found in most of the world, like this walnut orchard in France.

There are different types of walnuts from different parts of the world. These walnuts varieties are generally similar both in appearance, as well as nutritional profile, as they all are part of the same walnut family.

The vast majority of walnuts are produced by three countries: The United States, of which most are grown in the state of California, France, and India.

The White walnut or Butternut originates from the United States, primarily the eastern part of the country, as well as from Canada’s southeast.

The Eastern Black walnut is also native to the eastern United States, and to southeastern Canada.

The English walnut, the Persian walnut. Circassian walnut, or the common walnut, as known in Great Britain, is a walnut tree species native to the region stretching from Southwest China to the Himalayas, and westward to the Balkans.

Processed Walnuts versus Organic Walnuts

Walnuts are available commercially in grocery stores, organic food stores, and the like. Ideally you want your walnuts to be unprocessed, and from walnut trees or groves that are not treated with pesticides and other chemicals either on the trees themselves or in the soil in which these trees grow.

In other words, the walnuts should be organic, and not heated or pasteurized. Organic walnuts are never exposed to excessive heat, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, or other additives. In addition, GMO or genetically modified seeds are never used.

Click here for organic CBD oil

By using organic methods, and not heating or otherwise adulterating the walnut tree or the walnut itself through processing, the nut is at it’s optimum nutritional state which means you will receive the full benefits which are considerable, with none of the possible negative side effects.

The best way to ensure that the walnuts you buy are at least unprocessed is to buy them still in the shell. It is worth the extra trouble to have to crack open the outer shell and expose the inner nut or fruit, in order to maximize the amount of beneficial nutrients that the walnut provides when you eat it.

However, even buying the whole walnut in it’s shell does not fully guarantee that it comes from an organic source. Do your best to inquire as to the source of the nut so that you can purchase organic, should you choose to do so.

The Healthiest Nut

Walnut Tree
Organic, non GMO walnuts have a lengthy nutritional profile, and are considered the healthiest nut.

Walnuts are considered to be by those in the know, the healthiest of all nuts. And, due to the fact that all nuts are good for us, this is really saying something.  The nutrient profile, and nutrient density are about the same among the different types of walnuts.

So, what is in walnuts that make them the healthiest nut?  Walnuts are high in Omega 3 fatty acids. They are high in protein.  They also loaded with minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, selenium, manganese, and phosphorous. Walnuts also contain large amounts of vitamins like vitamin B1, B2, B3, and folic acid, another B vitamin.

Walnuts also have the best form of vitamin E, gamma tocopherol. Other forms of vitamin E which walnuts don’t have are dl-alpha tocopherol, a synthetic form, and d-alpha tocopherol, another natural form. In addition, they also contain good fats such as polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated fats, as well as dietary fiber.

Walnuts also have a higher anti-oxidant load than all other nuts, which are found primarily in the brown outer skin. These anti-oxidants may be the walnut’s most important health enhancing attribute.

A large concentration of these and other nutrients are found in the outer skin of the walnut. This can sometimes be white in color or waxy looking. It can also sometimes have a flaky consistency.

Don’t disregard this part of the walnut, as most people do because they are simply not aware of the nutritional power that it represents.

Health Benefits of Walnuts

Many health conditions are improved, and or eradicated by adding walnuts to the diet. Some of the conditions that are effected are:

Diabetes

Eating 2 to 3 walnuts per day has been shown to improve the insulin levels and metabolic parameters of those with Type ll Diabetes, also known as Adult Onset Diabetes. Eating walnuts has also proven to reduce sugar cravings in those effected.

Sleep

Walnuts contain naturally occuring melatonin which aids in going off to sleep, and in promoting restful, rejunvenating sleep. Melatonin also helps reset your circadium rythyms, or your sleep/wake cycles which can be thrown off by jet lag.

Weight Loss

Walnuts can help promote weight loss by providing a feeling of satiation, or feeling full. By eating walnuts as a substitute for other foods, it is possible to lose weight, and maintain your ideal weight over time. Walnuts can also help in increasing your fat burning metabolism, which in turn can help you lose weight more quickly.

Heart/Cardivascular

Much evidence has shown that eating walnuts can improve the elasticity of blood vessels, and prevent the formation and accumulation of plaque, thus helping prevent heart disease.

In addition, cholesterol levels, and triglyceride levels,  considered factors in causing heart disease, have shown improvement from eating walnuts.

This is the result of high levels of anti-oxidants which destroy free radicals, and from plant source Omega 3 fatty acids. Eating walnuts on a regular basis can lower your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease by a minimum of 55%.

What is in walnuts
Walnuts provide many health benefits, including glowing skin, hair, and nails.

Skin/Hair/Nails

Due to walnuts ample content of B vitamins, and anti-oxidants, your skin, and hair will benefit. Not only will eating walnuts help with wrinkles, and sagging skin, but it will also provide you with a more glowing appearance.

Your hair will also be more healthy, and have a more vibrant appearance. Your nails will also harden, and grow healthier. You will look better because you are healthier from the inside out, and not because of a phoney mask as many store bought expensive, chemical laden cosmetics, and shampoos provide.

Cancer

Walnuts have shown good results with breast cancer, prostate cancer, and even with pancreatic cancer. From a preventative standpoint, eating walnuts as part of a healthy diet, exercise, and lifestyle can be quite beneficial. Eating walnuts regularly lowers your risk of dying from cancer by 40%.

Stress

Walnuts and walnut oil can lower your resting blood pressure, lower your blood pressures’s response to stress, and reduce the pulse rate. This is due to the high fiber, anti-oxidant, and unsaturated fatty acid content in walnuts.

Mood

Walnuts can help fend off depression due to their high content of mood boosting Omega 3 fatty acids. Symptoms of ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hypertension Disorder can also be helped greatly by eating walnuts.

In addition, walnuts can increase  seratonin levels, the feel good brain chemical that can lift mood, and improve depression, and bring up down moods.

The walnut ‘fruit’ as it sits in the shell resembles the human brain in appearance. Not surprisingly, the walnut does much to improve the health and function of the human brain. Coincidence? I think not.

What is in Walnuts is Super

Walnuts truly are a super food.  Walnuts are found in most parts of the world. The three main walnut producing countries are the United States, France, and India.

Walnuts are used in many foods such as French cheeses, as an oil, as a stand alone food, and as a medicine. The wood of the walnut tree is used in making furniture, art work, and other objects for the home and work shop.

Organic, unprocessed walnuts are far superior to processed, and heated walnuts. Organic walnuts retain their entire nutritional profile which is substantial, and can be extremely beneficial for those that consume it.

The walnut is loaded with nutrition. It contains healthy oils, vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, anti-oxidants, and fiber.

Many health conditions are improved by consuming walnuts. These include diabetes, sleep, weight loss, heart/cardiovascular, skin/hair/nails, cancer, stress, and mood among others.

Walnuts are an inexpensive, delicious, safe way to benefit your health. Every kitchen should have a bag or bowl of walnuts.

What is in Raw Honey

What is in raw honey.
Bees have been making honey since the beginning of time.

Honey has been called the Nectar of the Gods.  Due to what is in raw honey, it has been used for thousands of years as a sweetener, stand alone food, and to treat many ailments, and diseases both internally, and topically.

Honey is available commercially in grocery stores, convenience stores, organic food stores, just about everywhere. However, much of the commercially available honey is not raw honey. This honey is usually heated, and processed in other ways.

There is a big difference between this processed grocery store honey, and raw, unheated, unprocessed honey straight from the hive.

I will explain the difference between processed honey, which is most honey you find on grocery store shelves, and raw honey. I will tell you why raw honey is so much better than processed honey. I will also tell you how to test the honey to tell if it is raw or processed.

I will also describe what is in raw honey, why it is so beneficial. I will let you know what health issues raw honey can help improve, and in some cases eradicate.

I will also give you a source for organic, pure, raw, wild honey that is straight from the honeycomb.

Processed Honey versus Raw Honey

What is in raw honey
Processing destroys what is in raw honey.

Most of the honey that is commercially available in grocery stores, convenience stores, and even in some health food stores, is processed honey.  What is processed honey? Processed honey is honey that has been pasteurized, which means heated.

This honey has also been filtered after being extracted and collected. It is believed that at least 75% of the commericially available honey is not raw honey, or the origin of the honey is not known.

When honey is filtered and pasteurized or heated, it loses most, if not all of it’s beneficial ingredients or constituents. This processing ruins the nutritional profile of the honey, which is very substantial.  Processed honey may also have water added, as well as corn syrup, and is highly glycemic.

It is also important to buy organic raw honey, which is usually found from small beekeeping operations. These smaller operations use wild flowers, and utilize wild bees.  The larger, commercial bee farms will often use chemicals, and pesticides in their flowers and plants.

They use these in the growth, as well as the maintenance of the flowers and plants. They may even use GMO, genetically modified seeds in their commercial pollination operations.

Raw honey tends to be thicker or show more viscosity than processed honey. Raw honey will often have visible pollen, where as processed honey has the pollen filtered out to produce a more clear looking, and thinner honey.

How to Test if your Honey is Raw(Pure) or Processed

You can test to see if your honey is raw or pure by pouring some of the honey into a glass of water. If the honey mixes with the water, it is not pure or raw, it is processed. If the honey goes to the bottom of the glass and does not mix with the water at all, it is pure or raw.

Another way to test if your honey is pure or raw is to burn it. Take a small piece of paper and roll it up. Immerse one end into the honey you want to test.

Put a flame to the honey end and if it doesn’t burn, it is processed.  If it does create a small flame on the honey immersed end, it is pure or raw honey.

Another way to tell if your honey is raw, or if it is processed is to pour a small amount of the honey on to your finger. Your thumb nail works best. If when you pour the honey on your finger it rolls off, it is processed honey.

If, when you pour a bit of honey on your finger and it stays together, and doesn’t slide off the side, it is raw or pure honey.

Signs Mild Stroke

Signs Mild Stroke

signs mild stroke
Facial numbness, and slurred speech are two signs of a mild or more severe stroke.

It is important to know and understand the signs mild stroke. By doing so, you can recognize their meaning, and seek help either for yourself, or for someone you are with, which can help dramatically reduce the chances of it become serious and debilitating.

If you believe that you, or someone you are with is having a stroke of any severity, call 911.

I will explain what a mild stroke is. I will describe the early warning signs prior to having a mild stroke. I will also describe the symptoms of a mild stroke during the mild stroke, and why it is so important to seek medical help immediately.

I will also explain the current medical treatments for mild stroke. In addition, I will tell you about mild stroke preventative measures, both medical, as well as natural.

What is a mild stroke?

A mild stroke is also known as a mini stroke, a tia, or a transient ischemic attack. A mild stroke is defined as a temporary stoppage or interruption of the flow of blood that carries oxygen and nutrients to a certain part of the brain, the spinal chord, or the eye that causes certain symptoms.

Normally the duration of one of these mini stroke episodes is 10 to 15 minutes, but can last as long as 60 minutes. When the blood flow returns after this period, the symptoms go away, and there is no permanent injury. This can be determined by an MRI or other brain imaging scans.

Although not as serious as a potentially disabling full blown stroke, these events should be treated as a medical emergency. As many as 10% of those that experiences these mild strokes will also have a full blown stroke often within days, if left untreated.

Depending on what area of the brain or spinal chord that is deprived of blood flow and injured, and what in the body that area of the brain controls will determine the symptoms of the mild stroke.

The signs that you may be having a mild stroke are troubles with speech such as slurring, confusion, lack of comprehension, vision problems, difficulty moving the body from one side or the other, and/or a weakness or deficit in one side of the body or the other.

You may experience a numbness and inability to use your arm muscles, or numbness in your facial muscles. Sometimes there are no symptoms at all.

If you are with someone that is having a mild or more severe stroke, after you call 911, have them lie down on their back, on the floor or on a sofa or bed, and put a pillow under their head and shoulders and upper back.

This will keep the airway open by keeping the head from coming too far forward. If you have any questions, the medical emergency dispatcher can assist you with the patient until the EMT’s arrive.

What causes mild strokes?

Mild ischemic strokes are often caused by a blockage in the carotid artery on the side of the neck or in blood vessels elsewhere leading to or in the brain. These blockages are made up of atherosclerotic or plaque build up on the walls of the arteries.

These build ups consist of saturated fats, cholesterol, and other substances. These blockages are attributed to a high fat diet, lack of exercise, smoking, lack of sleep, and/or other factors.

Other causes include cardiac abnormalities such as an abnormal heart rythym, or other sturctural abnormalities that may predispose the heart to produce clots that can travel to the brain.

In addition, damage to the neck and head, and genetic disorders such as a clotting disorder, or an abnormal formation of blood vessels can be a cause.

Signs mild stroke
Migraine headaches can be a precursor to mild or more severe strokes.

Stroke warning signs

Your body will provide warning signs prior to the onset of a mild or more severe stroke. These signs can appear around a month or more before.

These signs are: lightheadedness or weakness, headaches or migraines, fatigue, hiccups, unconsciousness, hallucinations, pain, problems breathing, sickness, personality changes, and epileptic episodes.

Current medical treatments

The current medical treatments for those having ischemic strokes, is a clot busting drug called TPA, that dissolves the clot or obstruction in the blood vessel. Other drug treatments include anti-coagulant, and anti-platelet drugs.

Another treatment is a catheter that is run from the inside of the upper thigh or groin all the way up into the blocked artery. if it is determined that the stroke has an obstruction in the brain, that literally grabs the obstruction and pulls it out.

Time is of the essense for both of these treatments. The drug must be given within 4 1/2 hours of the symptoms beginning, and the procedure must be done within 6 to 8 hours of the symptoms starting. In some cases the procedure can be given up to 24 hours after symptoms begin to manifest, depending on the patient.

If the drug TPA is given to the patient after the initial 4 1/2 hour window, it can make other treatments more difficult, and the drug may lose it’s effectiveness.

Can mild strokes be prevented?

The prevention of mild strokes involve primarily the controlling or eliminating the risk factors that cause atheroscleroris or plaque build up.

Atherosclerosis or plaque build up consists of fats, cholesterol, and other substances that build up on the walls of the arteries. These risk factors are obesity, smoking, high blood pressure or hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia.

Other risk factors include previous mild strokes, cardiovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease, and other heart, and cardiovascular issues.  Preventative measures include blood thinning, and anti-coagulating drugs.

In addition, stents which are plastic or metal tubes or cylinders placed within an artery in order to keep it open permanently are utilized in some instances to provide prevention in patients that have already had a stroke, or are considered a likely candidate for one to occur.

Signs mild stroke
Eating fresh, raw, organic fruits and vegetables can dramatically lower your risk of mild and more severe stroke.

Natural mild stroke prevention

Natural preventative measures include adding potassium, magnesium, vitamin C, and vitamin B to the diet, or through supplementation.

Organic, raw, unprocessed, unrefined, no additives, no preservatives, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains are the dietary basics to provide all of the nutrients needed to help prevent mild strokes, as well as prevent many other conditions, and diseases.

This also means lowering or eliminating your intake of red meats, and fried foods which contain saturated fats that can clog arteries.

Exercise, meditation, and relaxation can also help to prevent mild strokes.

Specifically the best foods and herbs to help prevent tia’s or mini strokes are:

Caution: Always check with your medical doctor before attempting any self treatments or remedies, especially if you are already under a doctor’s care for this condition.

Salmon  The anti-inflammation fighting Omega 3 fatty acids in fish like salmon can help lower your risk of mild stroke significantly by reducing inflammation in the arteries. Salmon will help improve blood flow, and lower the chance of developing clots and obstructions.

Signs Mild Stroke

Signs mild stroke
Knowing the warning signs of mild stroke can prevent a debilitating life or even death.

It is important to know and recognize the signs of a mild stroke. Doing so, can help save your life, and the life of others. and the quality of your life and others.

The duration of these episodes is normally 10-15 minutes, but can last as long as an hour.  A mild stroke is verified by an MRI or other brain scan.

Pre stroke warning signs include:
lightheadedness or weakness, headaches or migraines, fatigue, hiccups, unconsiousness, hallucinations, pain, problems breathing, sickness, personality changes, and epileptic episodes.

Stroke risk factors are obesity, smoking, high blood pressure or hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia. Other risk factors include previous mild strokes, cardiovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease, and other heart, and cardiovascular issues.

Current medical treatments are clot busting drugs, and a catheter to remove the obstruction that is causing the problem.

Mild stroke prevention include eliminating or reducing the risk factors, and my implementing natural measures. These measures include a healthy diet, Exercise, relaxation, and meditation can also help.  The best preventative foods include, salmon, bananas, and ginger among others.

Erectile Dysfunction Natural Remedies

Erectile Dysfunction Natural Remedies

Erectile dysfunction natural remedies
ED is a common problem among men age 50 or older.

If you are a man that has experienced some for of erectile dysfunction[ED], or if you are a woman who has a man with erectile dysfunction, you know that it is no laughing matter. Erectile dysfunction natural remedies can help you.

As a man, ED can make you feel like less of a man. and a failure in your relationship.

ED of course can leave a woman partner also feeling like a failure in the relationship, as well as unfulfilled, and unsatisfied.

ED is a very common problem. By age forty, 5 percent of men have total erectile dysfunction. This number goes up to 15 percent of men have complete erectile dysfunction by age 70.

As many as 50 percent of men have mild to moderate erectile dysfunction by age 50. It is estimated that well over 30 million men in the US alone have some degree of erectile dysfunction.

The good news is, successful treatments for ED both medical, and natural do exist.

I will explain what erectile dysfunction is. I will also describe what causes erectile dysfunction. I will reveal what the current medical treatments for erectile dysfunction are, and what the erectile dysfunction natural remedies are.

What is Erectile Dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to achieve and sustain an erection.

Erectile dysfunction is described as the lack of ability to achieve and/or sustain a penile erection sufficient for sexual performance during intercourse that is satisfactory.

ED is an easy problem to identify, and diagnose. With a basic physical exam, and some simple testing, the reasons for ED can be revealed.

Erectile dysfunction is also referred to as ED, erectile failure, erectile difficulties, or impotence. ED may not necessarily be associated with other types of sexual issues like infertility, libido or reduced sex drive, issues with ejaculation, or issues with orgasm.

Impotence can range in severity for certain individuals. It can mean for some men, no erections at all, inconsistent erections, erection too flaccid to allow penetration for intercourse, or a premature loss of erection during sex.

What Causes Erectile Dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction natural remedies
ED has both physical and psychological causes.

The causes of ED can be grouped into two separate categories. These are psychological causes, and physical causes(medical or organic).

Some 80% of those who experience ED will have a physical cause, and the remaining 20% will have a psychological cause.

Psychological causes include: attraction loss to one’s partner, relationship issues, stress and anxiety, performance anxiety, depression or other mental illness, guilt, and fear of failure.

Physical causes of ED include: age, injury, diabetes, surgery and radiation, high blood pressure, hormonal fluctuations, obesity, smoking, medications, sedentary lifestyle or lack of exercise, illnesses, and steroids and illicit drugs.

Many of these factors can be controlled or reversed, while some others like age cannot.  The integrity of the blood vessels can be compromised by factors like smoking, age, hypertension or high blood pressure, age, family history or diet and lifestyle habits, obesity, diabetes, and lack of exercise or a sedentary lifestyle.

These can cause or contribute to a hardening of the penile tissue, and blood vessels or atherosclerosis. This evolves into less blood flow into the penis, and a lowered ability to contain the blood and stretch the penile tissue.

Diet, smoking, and lifestyle are all contributing factors that can be controlled in order to lower the risks of creating ED, and to help reverse ED once established.

Chronic or longstanding medical conditions are the most common causes of ED. These are multiple sclerosis, kidney disease, chronic alcoholism, diabetes, atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries or vascular disease, and brain or neurological disease.

In addition to these conditions themselves, the drugs that are prescribed for these and other conditions can also cause or contribute to ED.

These drugs include: appetite suppressants, antihistamines, tranquilizers, antidepressants, blood pressure or hypertension drugs, and drugs for ulcers.

Hormone imbalances can also cause ED. The hormones imbalances that affect ED the most are with testosterone, and the thyroid hormone thyroxine. Kidney disease, and diabetes can often be a cause of these hormone imbalances.

Current Medical Treatments for Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction natural remedies
Viagra are commonly prescribed for ED.

There are currently several effective medical treatments for correcting or improving the symptoms of ED.

These medical treatments however are usually symptom related, and do not normally address the underlying causes of impotence.

As a result, by implementing these medical treatments, the underlying cause may worsen in severity.

In addition, the results gained from these treatments are temporary, and in order to realize similar results, they must be taken again each time the result is needed.

The medical practitioners that see and treat patients with ED are General Practitioners or Family Doctors, Endocrinologists(Hormone Experts) or Internal Specialists, Urologists, and Psychiatrists.

Erectile dysfunction is determined by these practitioners with various methods. These methods include a physical examination, lab tests, a psychological evaluation and assessment, as well as by looking at the medical history of the patient.

These medical treatments most often recommended and prescribed include:

Changes in lifestyle
Surgery
Penile Injections
Medications like Viagra, Levitra, Cialis(temporary solution, and can be expensive, and cause hazardous side effects)
Hormones
Topical treatments like Muse
Adjustment in medication currently prescribed
Vacuum devices
Psychotherapy
Implants

Erectile Dysfunction Natural Remedies

Always check with your doctor before attempting these or any other therapies related to ED.

Erectile dysfunction natural remedies
Dark chocolate is one of many erectile dysfunction natural remedies

Medical therapies and treatments for erectile dysfunction can be effective. Unfortunately, they can also cause dangerous side effects, and more often than not, these therapies and treatments are temporary solutions. The reason for this is much of these treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause.

Natural treatments, on the other hand, work with the body, and do not cause dangerous side effects. Some natural treatments and therapies also address the underlying cause, as well as the symptoms of ED.

We know that an erection cannot be sustained without adrenaline. We also know that blood circulation is an important component to both achieving, and sustaining an erection.

Natural remedies such as herbs are generally considered safer and less invasive than many medical and drug therapies.

However, because many natural remedies for ED are involved with increasing blood flow, there is still some risk, especially as it pertains to blood pressure.

Herbs, and herbal formulations are a very common natural remedy for impotence. Some of the more popular herbs, and other natural sources that have shown to be an effective treatment for ED are:

Yohimbe Bark – an African tree bark. Yohimbe can be used both short term, and long term. In higher doses it can affect blood pressure, anxiety, and other issues. Should be used with caution.

Maca Root – a Peruvian potato starch that is found in the mountainous regions. Can be utilized both short term, and long term for impotence as well as for infertility.

Tongkat Ali – from the South Pacific. This formula is not as well known as Yohimbe, and Maca, but non the less is considered effective for increasing sexual performance, and in helping erectile dysfunction, and infertility.

Nan Bao – a Chinese herbal formulation that also contains parts of animals.  This is used both short term and long term for impotence.

Erectile dysfunction natural remedies
Ginger root has been shown to increase libido.

Ginger Root– contains, zinc, magnesium, and vitamin C, which has been shown to increase libido.

Adaptogenic Formula – this formula uses various herbs, mushrooms, and other plants, and has the ability to raise hormones that are too low, and lower hormones that are too high.

B Complex – these live source vitamins help the liver, the adrenals, and focus during sex.

Adrenal Support Formula – this effective formula utilizes fermented Cordycep mushroom, Eleuthero root, Bromelain, Japanese knotweed, Chlorella, and Burdock root to allow for optimum adrenal function. An erection cannot be sustained without adrenaline.

Foods that help Erectile Dysfunction include:

Watermelon – high in citrulline, which can improve the hardness of erections in men with a mild form of impotence. Three and a half servings per day are needed. Yellow watermelon, however, will work with only one small serving per day.

Cayenne Pepper and Garlic – in combination these two foods increase blood flow throughout the body, and including the penis. Garlic can also increase testosterone levels which helps with libido, and quality of erections.

Cruciferous Vegetables, and Mushrooms – will help lower the hormone Estrogen which lowers your testosterone levels. Testosterone is the male hormone that is involved with sexual energy, vitality, and performance.

Oysters –  are loaded with the mineral zinc, and may help boost testosterone levels.

Dark Chocolate – high in flavanols, can lower blood pressure, and increase blood flow, and circulation. In addition, dark chocolate can increase nitric oxide which can assist with erections.

Click here for delicious, healthy dark chocolate!

Bananas – rich in potassium which is good for the heart, and can improve blood flow and circulation.

Salmon–  high in Omega 3 fatty acids which can make blood less viscous and sticky, and improve blood flow to the lower extremities. Other oily fish like mackerel, tuna, and trout can have the same effect.

Onions – contain a blood thinning component called allicin which assists in blood flow and circulation. Garlic also contains this natural chemical.

Beets – can boost nitric oxide which helps erections.

Erectile dysfunction natural remedies
Red wine contains resveratrol, and can help in producing nitric oxide which helps with erections.

Red Wine – a top source of resveratrol, a phytochemical anti-oxidant, can help open blood vessels, and assist in the production of nitric oxide.

Pomegranates – help by regulating blood flow and directing it to the lower extremities.

Cardamon – promotes blood flow directs it to the penis, which causes stronger erections.

You will receive more benefits, and less chance of absorbing toxins and chemical is you eat raw, fresh, organic foods.

ED can be Treated Successfully

ED is a very common problem. It is believed that as many as 50% of men experience mild to moderate erectile dysfunction by age 50.

Natural Remedies High Blood Pressure

Did you know there are natural remedies high blood pressure? If you have high blood pressure, otherwise known as hypertension. If you are concerned that you may have high blood pressure or be prone to it.

If you want to prevent high blood pressure from happening in your life or someone else’s life. This information can help you.

I will describe to you what high blood pressure is. I will explain what causes high blood pressure. I will also provide the natural remedies high blood pressure.

What is High Blood Pressure?

Natural remedies high blood pressure
High blood pressure is when the force of blood on the arterial walls is too strong.

Blood pressure is the amount of force that is needed for the heart to pump blood to the lungs, and through the arteries into the tissues of the body.

High blood pressure is when the force of this blood on the walls of the arteries is considered too intense.

Certain factors affect blood pressure. These are:

Blood Volume. Blood volume is the total amount of blood in the body. As blood volume increases, blood pressure increases.

Cardiac(Heart) Output Cardiac output is the blood amount that the ventricles of your heart pump out per minute. As cardiac output increases, your blood pressure rises.

Resistance Resistance is anything impeding or working against the arterial blood flow.  Resistance is determined by how flexible the artery walls are. It is also determined by the artery’s diameter, and by how thick or viscous your blood is.

Blood pressure is measured by a blood pressure cuff, also called a sphygmomanometer. This device measure your two types of blood pressure.

Systolic Blood Pressure
Systolic blood pressure is the blood pressure on the artery wall when your heart beats.
Diastolic Blood Pressure
Diastolic blood pressure is the blood pressure on the artery wall between heart beats, or when your heart relaxes or is at rest.

Although your blood pressure can fluctuate during the day, your normal blood pressure should be less than 120 systolic blood pressure, and less than 80 diastolic blood pressure.

If your blood pressure reading often remains above 140 systolic, and/or remains above 90 diastolic, you are considered to have high blood pressure.

A systolic reading between 120-140, and/or a systolic number between 80-90 is called prehypertension, and may lead to high blood pressure if preventative steps aren’t taken.

Symptoms of high blood pressure include ringing in the ears, fatigue, vision differences, nosebleeds, headaches, irregular heartbeats, chest pains, and confusion.

High blood pressure left untreated, or treated incorrectly can lead to heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and kidney failure.

What Causes High Blood Pressure?

Natural remedies high blood pressure
Table salt does not cause blood pressure, but it can make it worse.

Before I tell you what causes high blood pressure, let me dispel a few myths about what causes high blood pressure. First and foremost, high blood pressure is not genetic.

If your parents and grandparents had high blood pressure, and experienced some of the resulting health problems associated with it like heart disease and stroke, it could be attributed to diet, behaviors, habits, and lifestyle that was passed down from one generation to another.

The Human Genome project recently determined that less than 1/2 of 1% of all illnesses/diseases have a genetic cause.

The second myth is that salt causes high blood pressure.  Certain types of table salt can exacerbate or make worse high blood pressure, but it doesn’t cause it or initiate it.

The type of salt that can exacerbate high blood pressure is common table salt, and other processed sodium. This salt, during processing is highly heated to 1300 degrees, and it is also stripped of it’s vitamins and minerals.

Other, healthy salts can actually help high blood pressure. These salts are sun dried sea salts, Himalayan salts, and Hawaiian pink salts. These are whole salts that are unprocessed, and have their nutrient content left intact.

Another common myth about high blood pressure is that stress causes high blood pressure. Stress, like processed table salt, can increase or make worse existing high blood pressure, but it doesn’t cause it.

Other things that can worsen high blood pressure are refined sugar, processed flour, smoking, excess alcohol consumption, and lack of exercise/obesity.

What does cause high blood pressure?  High blood pressure is caused by a severe mineral deficiency. This may be due to a problem with mineral metabolism, and/or a condition where minerals are being leached from the body by a bacterial infection or other reason.

In most cases, eating foods that are high in minerals and/or supplementing with live source minerals will bring your blood pressure into the normal ranges within a few weeks.

If you are currently under a doctor’s care for high blood pressure, and taking medications to control it, please be sure to check with you doctor before implementing any of these ideas.

High blood pressure is when the force of  blood on the walls of the arteries is considered too intense.

The two types of blood pressured that are measured by a sphygmomanometer or blood pressure cuff are systolic or when heart beats, and diastolic or when heart rests.

A reading of 140 or above systolic, and/or 90 or above diastolic is considered high blood pressure.

High blood pressure is not caused by genetics, or by eating salt.  Salt or sodium intake my worsen high blood pressure, however.

Other things that can worsen high blood pressure are refined sugar, processed flour, smoking, excess alcohol consumption, and lack of exercise/obesity.

A severe mineral deficiency is the cause of high blood pressure.  This may be brought on by a problem with mineral metabolism, or by an infection that has leached minerals from the body.

Fruits that help high blood pressure include Bananas,Watermelon, Oranges, Apricots, Grapefruit, Honeydew, Dates, Coconuts, and Pomegranate.

What is the Treatment for Acid Reflux

What is the treatment for acid reflux? I will explain what acid reflux is, what other terms you may know acid reflux as, what causes acid reflux, what the typical treatments for acid reflux are, and I will explain what the best treatments for acid reflux are, and where to get your hands on them.

What is Acid Reflux?

What is the treatment for acid reflux.
Acid reflux and GERD are painful conditions that usually happen after a meal.

Acid reflux, or acid reflux disease, gastroesophogeal reflux disease, GERD, heartburn, acid indigestion or acid stomach is a very common ailment that normally accompanies the end of a meal.

When we eat, the food that we swallow travels down a tube called the esophagus or the food pipe. It then enters through a hole in a muscular sheet called the diaphragm.

From here the round muscle at the bottom of the esophagus called the esophageal sphincter or hiatus relaxes and opens allowing for food to be passed through to the stomach.

Proton pumps in the stomach release hydrochloric acid into the stomach to digest the food, and kill any pathogens in the food.

It is not unusual for a small amount of acid to splash up and into the esophagus through the esophageal hiatus after a meal, despite the fact that both the diaphragm, and the esophagus work to close the opening to the stomach very tightly.

Because the lining of the esophagus is not as well protected as the stomach, when this acid works it’s way in, it can cause a burning, and tightening in the chest area and below the chest area.  Often, an acidic or bitter taste in the mouth is experienced, and also a sick feeling is felt among some people.

This is called acid reflux. The diaphragm, and the opening to the stomach can weaken over time due to a continual exposure to stomach acid allowing for a hiatal hernia.

A hiatal hernia is when part of the stomach protrudes into the esophagus allowing for more acid to escape from the stomach into the esophagus.

This is called gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD. GERD is the more chronic, and serious form of acid reflux. GERD can lead to more serious issues, including cancer.

What Causes Acid Reflux

What is the treatment for acid reflux.
Contrary to popular belief, acid reflux is caused by too little stomach acid.

What causes acid reflux and GERD may not be what you think or what you have heard. We are led to believe by the 10 plus billion dollar a year antacid industry that acid reflux and GERD are caused by having too much stomach acid. In reality, we have the vast majority of us have too little stomach acid.

When we are 18 years of age, we are making an optimum amount of hydrochloric stomach acid.  We can digest our food, and kill pathogens in our food with no trouble.

However, as we age, our bodies produce less and less of this vital HCL, primarily due to the copious amounts of cooked food that we eat everyday.  Other possible causes or contributors are high stress, insufficient alkaline minerals, parasites, obesity, pregnancy, and/or infection, among others.

By the time we hit age 40 we produce less than half of the HCL that we made when we were at our peak, at age 18. And, by the time we get to age 70, most of us are making very little of this precious substance.

So what happens to the food we eat when it hits our stomachs if we have little stores of hydrochloric acid? Much of the food simply rots or ferments there in our guts, and this produces lactic acid.

This lactic acid wreaks havoc on our esophageal hiatus or sphincter, and makes its way into the esophagus. This causes acid reflux, and after continual abuse the dreaded GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease is created.

There are many triggers that can set off acid reflux, and GERD. These include medications, acidic foods, eating too quickly, eating too much, stress, certain drinks, too much exercise, cigarette smoking, tight fitting clothing, among others.

Typical Treatments for Acid Reflux and GERD

What is the treatment for acid reflux
Antacids are the treatment du jour for acid reflux.

The treatment of choice by the FDA, Food and Drug Administration, and the AMA, American Medical Association is antacids. Antacids will provide temporary relief, but can deplete the body’s stores of magnesium, and mask the underlying causes of acid reflux, often making the condition worse.

In addition to antacids, prescription drugs can be given, and in more severe cases, surgeries are performed in order to strengthen the esophageal sphincter, or hiatus.

As I mentioned earlier, the antacid business is BIG business, so like many other areas of chronic care in the U.S., much is done to downplay other methods that address causes instead of just symptoms.

The motivation for this is to protect the enormous profits that drugs, continual doctor visits, and surgeries produce.

Best Treatment Acid Reflux

What is the treatment for acid reflux
The best treatment for acid reflux is betaine hydrochloride  from sugar beets with a potassium activator..

The best treatment for acid reflux or any other condition for that matter, is one that determines, and addresses the root cause.

I also believe the best treatment is a natural one that works with the body instead of against it as is the case with most drugs.

Since we know that most acid reflux is the result of too little hydrochloric acid in the stomach, we must work to replenish these levels.

First and foremost we must rebuild these HCL levels safely, naturally, and effectively. In addition,  it would be ideal if we can accomplish this without having to spend too much of our hard earned money.

Luckily for us, there is a safe, natural, effective, and affordable treatment for acid reflux, and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease or GERD.  Betaine hydrochloride from sugar beets, and a potassium activator will help reestablish these low levels of HCL.

Click here for HCL Potassium Activator

This will support gastric acid secretion which is critically needed to break down protein, vitamin B12, and more in order for important minerals and vitamins to be absorbed.  This combination is best taken directly after meals, especially when you eat cooked meals.

It also supports the PH or acid/alkaline balance of the GI or gastrointenstinal tract, as well as provides microbial balance in the stomach.

In addition, certain salts can help with HCL storage and production. These salts include sun dried sea salts, and Hawaiian pink salt. These salts contain the chloride fraction that is integral in HCL, as well as other nutrients.

Click here for Hawaiian Pink Salt

This chloride fraction is not found in other highly heated, nutrient stripped table salt.

In order for this to work optimally for you, it is best to eat more raw foods, and less cooked foods. Raw foods contain their own enzymes, and are much easier for you to digest than cooked foods.

In addition, fermented foods are also easily digested. Foods such as saurkraut, kefir, tofu, tempeh, and many others are very easily digested, cause little if any stomach distress, and also provide many other health benefits.

These foods will allow you to expend less of your HCL, and help keep your levels steady, or at least slow the decline. To improve digestion even further, supplementing with digestive enzymes, and probiotics can benefit this process greatly.

Natural Remedies for Acid Reflux

What is the treatment for acid reflux
Ginger root is an excellent natural remedy for acid reflux.

Instead of taking expensive, and possibly harmful antacids, and other drugs, try these natural acid reflux remedies.

Ginger Ginger contains enzymes that break down amino acids. It is also anti-parasitic, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial. Ginger root is available in most grocery stores, and can be taken as a tea, pickled, or eaten raw.

Water  Drinking more filtered or fresh water with your meals will help you break down your food, and dilute it helping prevent stomach distress.

Water also helps you feel full, curbing your appetite so you eat less. Water also has many other benefits to your health such as relieving joint and muscle pain, and more.

Bananas  Effective by shielding the the stomach lining from painful acids, and helps provide an alkaline boost to the stomach’s PH or acid/alkaline levels. Bananas are also high in food absorbing potassium, and rich in toxic removing fiber.

Almonds  Almonds help acid reflux the same way that bananas do.

Apple Cider Vinegar  Creates a milder acidic environment in the stomach, and provides the type, and amount of acid that the esophageal sphincter requires to function properly.

Honey  Raw, unheated honey, can prevent upset stomach, IBS or irritable bowel syndrome, and heartburn. It also coats and relieves the esophagus that has been subjected to painful acids.

What is the Treatment for Acid Reflux?

You can defeat acid reflux and GERD.  Acid reflux or GERD, gastroesohpageal reflux disease is also known as acid stomach, acid indigestion, and heartburn.

The 10 billion dollar a year plus antacid industry would like you to believe that your acid reflux and GERD is caused by too much stomach acid, when in reality it is usually caused by too little HCL or hydrochloric acid in the stomach.

The triggers that can bring on acid reflux, and GERD include medications, acidic foods, eating too quickly, eating too much, stress, certain drinks, too much exercise, cigarette smoking, tight fitting clothing, among others.

The treatment of choice of the drug, and medical industry are antacids, drugs, and surgery. The best treatment is to reestablish your HCL levels with betaine hydrochloride from sugar beets, and a potassium activator. Introducing healthy salts like a sun-dried sea salt, or Hawaiian pink salt is also helpful.

Raw foods, and fermented foods are easily digestible, and don’t cause stomach distress in most cases.  To improve digestion even further, supplementing with digestive enzymes, and probiotics will benefit this process greatly.

Natural remedies include ginger, almonds, bananas, apple cider vinegar, raw honey, and drinking more fresh, clean water.

Do you have a remedy for acid reflux, or GERD? If so, I would enjoy hearing about it. Please leave any comments, questions, or suggestions below.

How to Aging Gracefully

How to Aging Gracefully

How to aging gracefully
You can live a long, healthy life.

How to aging gracefully is about living not just a long life, but a healthy, and enjoyable long life.

The sad truth is that although many people live long lives, the last 15-20 years of their lives is often a battle to overcome, or to just live with various maladies, and diseases.

In addition, many of the drugs prescribed by medical doctors create more health problems, making their lives even more miserable.

And, if dealing with prescribed drugs, sickness, and negative health conditions weren’t enough, many folks have their savings, and investments drained due to paying for the operations, drugs, specialized care, and other related costs involved with trying to stay or become healthy.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what about humanity surprised him the most answered:
Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.

And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.

To age gracefully we must take control of our own health. If we leave it up to the medical establishment, we may well be sabotaging our rightful healthy futures.

The average M.D. lives to be 58 years old, yet we trust them to direct our health and longevity? The United States ranks anywhere from 17th to 24th in the world in successfully treating chronic illness.

I will describe to you several Cardinal rules to restore and create, and maintain good health. By following these rules you can bring about a healthy state that will allow you to feel and look your best, give you more energy, and help you to live a healthier, longer, more fulfilling life.

Rules to Restore and Create Good Health

Detox the Body

How to aging gracefully
Juice cleanses can help detox the entire body.

Detoxify the body, and eliminate exposure to toxic chemicals, and other toxic compounds.

The biggest culprits are heavy metals such as mercury, silver, and metal alloys found in the teeth.

These heavy metals can accumulate in the bowels, brain, and kidneys.  Other problem causes are chemicals used to eradicate pests, insects, and termites that accumulate in various organs, glands, and tissues of the body.

The two main filtering organs in the body where much of these toxic elements and compound can gather are the liver, and the kidneys. By detoxifying these two organs, you can go a long way toward eliminating these unhealthy deposits in your entire body.

Toxins can enter the body from the mouth, through the food that we eat, and from outside the body through the skin,  and through the various orifices.

There are toxins in the air we breathe, in shampoos, soaps, lotions, cleaning products, solvents, paints, and in many other products that we are exposed to either directly or indirectly.

Common toxic chemicals are sodium laurel sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, propylene glycol, methyl paraben, peg  stearate.  Some of these chemicals are even carcinogenic(cancer causing).

An excellent liver detox/cleanse is coffee enemas. Organic coffee along with anti-infective herbs adminstered for 30-40 minutes 2 times per week for 12 weeks will work wonders in clearing your liver, and allowing you to feel much more healthy.

Other ways to help detox your liver are by eating cruciferous vegetables, nuts, and by adding the B vitamin choline.

To detox, and cleanse the kidneys, the herbs stinging nettle, and burdock are effective when taken as a tea. Also eat foods that are nutrient dense, and that are high in anti-oxidants, and electrolytes.

The best fruits to help detox and cleanse the kidneys are blueberries, cranberries, and black cherries.

Juice cleanses, and fasting can help detox the entire body.

Eliminate Dead Foods – Add Live Foods

How to aging gracefully
Stop eating dead foods, start eating live foods like these fruits and vegetables.

Eliminate processed, refined, chemical laden, and fried foods from your diet, and instead eat raw, fresh, organic vegetables, and fruits.

Much of the food that we are subjected to in grocery stores, and supermarkets are dead foods, or foods that have little if any nutritional value.

These are foods that have been stripped of their original nutrients such as refined sugar, processed white flour, highly heated and refined table salt, as well as many fried foods such as what you find in restaurants, and fast food establishments.

The good oils are EFA’s, essential fatty acids, such as the Omega fatty acids, borage oil

Eliminate processed oils especially those that contain trans fats. All highly heated oils are bad for you. The high heat changes the molecular structure of the oil, and can wreak havoc on your body.  Ideally you want to avoid eating any food that has been deep fried, regardless of the oil used.

Instead, replace this garbage food with live food that we were engineered to eat. Fresh, whole, raw, organic fruits, and vegetables.

If you don’t like to eat raw veggies, and fruits, consider buying a juicer, or a blender, and make fresh, healthy juices, and smoothies.

Do this twice a day for a few weeks, and you may be surprised at how good you feel, how much energy you have, and how much better you sleep. And don’t be surprised if you drop a few pounds in the process.

If you eat meat, I recommend eating sparingly grass fed, free range, anti-biotic free, and hormone free meats.

Adding live source nutritional supplements can ensure that you are giving your body what it needs.

Adjust/Increase your PH

How to aging gracefully
Most of us are acidic, not the healthy slightly alkaline.

The PH is a measurement of the acid/alkaline levels of your blood and tissues. Ideally you want your PH to be slightly alkaline. Most people have an acidic PH.

The PH scale is from 0 to 14 with the ideal range between 6.4-7.2  Basically, the more alkaline you are, the more oxygenated you are, and thus the healthier you are.

The PH is easily measured by taking a piece of PH paper and running it under your first morning urine stream before you have eaten or drank anything.

Click here if you need to increase your PH

This will give you a true measure. You simply take this piece of PH paper and compare it to the guide, and it will tell you how acidic or alkaline you are.

A healthy PH can do much to protect us from chronic pain and inflammation, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, plaque buidup in blood vessels, and arteries, unhealthy pathogens, and other organisms, and a lot more.

A healthy PH can protect our immune system from weakening, prevent our organs and glands from being damaged, and stop our minerals from being depleted.

It is also believed that a ph that is slightly alkaline can protect us against many cancers. It is now known that cancer cannot live in an oxygenated environment.

Your PH can be affected by foods we eat both positively and negatively. Foods we should eat to improve the PH are: cauliflower, kiwi, celery, carrots, sweet potato, swiss chard, bananas, kale, spinach, and beet greens among others.

Foods to avoid that can negatively impact the PH are: refined sugar, coffee, alcohol, vegetable oils, nuts, eggs, legumes, glutenous grains, dairy, chicken, beef, and turkey, among others.

The single best way to raise the PH is with Okinawan Sango Marine Coral Calcium.  This has a perfect ratio of 2 to 1 of calcium to magnesium, and is also highly bioavailable and assimilable due to it’s live source.

By providing the tremendous boost for the alkaline ph, and mineral support for the whole body, Okinawan Sango Marine Coral Calcium also helps the bones, joints, and teeth.

Compared to eating alkaline foods, or juicing, taking Okinawan Sango Marine Coral Calcium will be significantly faster and easier.

Lower or Eliminate Stress

How to aging gracefully
Stress can rob you of good health and happiness.

Stress is your body/mind’s way of dealing with any type of stressor, or any cause of stress.  Common stressors are occupation, family needs, societal pressures, commuting/driving, monetary demands, and health concerns.

Stress may cause high blood pressure, anxiety, overeating/weight gain, problems with stomach/digestion, skin issues such as eczema, hair thinning or hair loss, sleep deprivation, and if ignored for extended periods of time, stress may bring about more serious chronic conditions such as coronary disease, and also cancer.

Click here if you feel stressed

Stress has detrimental effects on the bodies organs, glands, and systems.  It spends B vitamins, hinders the function of the liver, adrenal glands, and pancreas. Stress can also keep us from sleeping well, which worsen it’s effects.

Certain foods can also help cause stress, and keep you from being able to alleviate it.  Processed, refined, fried, glutenous grains, and chemical laden foods due to their lack of nutritional value can sometimes lead to or increase stress.

Coffee, and alcohol when taken in excess can also be a stress negative and add to stress.

Foods that can help you destress include those which contain typtophan such as turkey, free range eggs, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate, and fermented foods. Common fermented foods are saurkraut, kefir, pickles, tempeh, miso, natto, yogurt, and apple cider vinegar.

Other foods that can help with stress due to high levels of the B vitamin folate include dark green leafy vegetables, asparagus, and avocados.  Berries due to their packed anti-oxidant content also can provide destressing benefits.

Also certain nuts like walnuts, and cashews can help alleviate stress. In addition many herbs are beneficial like kava kava, ashwaganda, chamomile, and lavender.

Sleeping 7 or 8 hours per night will also help the body recover, and lessen stress. Regular exercise is also very important when it comes to managing stress.

Click here if you have trouble sleeping

Even walking for 20-30 minutes at a time, 3 times per week will provide significant feel good, anti-stress results.  If you need very low impact exercise, I recommend swimming or water aerobics.

A side benefit to regular walking is the ability to fend off osteoporosis. And if add in some light weight lifting, you can strengthen the bones of the upper body as well.

Other helpful ways to lessen stress are yoga, meditation, massage, and taking time off from work,

Add some simple rules, and add healthy years to your life

How to aging gracefully is about following these relatively simple, and easy to implement health rules, to improve your health, feel better, and increase longevity.

Detoxify the body, and eliminate exposure to toxic chemicals, and other toxic compounds.

Eliminate processed, refined, chemical laden, and fried foods from your diet, and instead eat raw, fresh, organic vegetables, and fruits.  If you eat meat, I recommend eating sparingly grass fed, free range, anti-biotic free, and hormone free meats.

Adjust your PH to the slightly alkaline zone.

Lower or eliminate stress.

Best Exercise Lose Stomach Fat

Is there one best exercise lose stomach fat? The truth is, there are many good exercises to lose that stubborn stomach or belly fat. I have my personal favorite exercises to lose stomach fat, and I will share all of them with you.

I will explain what these exercises are, and the best way to utilize them. I will also tell you my number one exercise to lose stomach fat, and why I am convinced of it. I will include other great fat burning exercises that you can put into practice if you so choose.

Best exercise lose stomach fat
Get a check up with your doctor before starting any exercise program.

I will also tell you the best exercise equipment that is appropriate for each exercise that I believe to be effective for stomach fat loss.

Better Safe than Sorry

The one thing to keep in mind is that there are no bad exercises for losing belly fat, or any other fat for that matter. Almost any exercise you can think of will help you lose fat at least to some extent.

You should always keep in mind though that you don’t want to risk injury, and you should always start slow with any type of exercise.

If you have not exercised for a long period of time, I strongly suggest that you check with your doctor first before you start any exercise program. This is true especially if you have had health problems in the past particularly related to the heart.

You should also consider that if you have a poor diet, and if you smoke and/or drink to excess, your results will likely take longer, and you may be putting yourself at risk for health problems such as heart attack or stroke with vigorous exercise.

Again, you should check with your doctor first to see if he feels exercise is right for you, and if so what type, and how much exercise you should do.

You will achieve the quickest, safest, longest lasting fat loss results if you incorporate a healthy diet, and lifestyle along with your exercise regimen.

Best Exercise to Lose Stomach Fat

Best exercise lose stomach fat
Running or jogging is the best exercise lose stomach fat.

The best exercise to lose stomach fat is: Running/Jogging  As a former marathon runner, I can tell you without a doubt that running is the best way to lose fat of any kind.  You don’t have to run marathons though in order to see fat loss results from running.

Jogging is so effective, that even if you can only run a half mile at a time, you will see results. The longer you can run, the more fat you will lose, and the quicker you will lose it. And, if you are consistent with it, you will achieve results you may not have believed possible.

If you live in a colder climate, or a climate with a lot of rain, or if you are concerned with personal safety, and it is difficult to run outdoors you may want to consider buying a treadmill or similar exercise machine.

This will enable you to jog in the comfort and safety of your own home, and still receive the benefits from running or jogging.

A wonderful side benefit from running is the runner’s high.  If you can build yourself up to run for 20-30 minutes at a time, you will experience the runner’s high.

Your lungs will fill up with air, your steps will become lighter and easier, you will feel stronger, and you will feel as though you can run for hours.

Another side benefit from jogging is an alleviation of anxiety, and depression. Your mood will improve, and you will feel that things you were worried about before have melted away, and become less burdensome.  You will become more clear headed, and your thinking or cognition will improve.

Also, you will not need to devote as much time to exercise, if time is of the essense for you. You can achieve an effective fat loss work out in less than a half hour a day, should you so choose.

Now, I realize that you may have nagging injuries, and the idea of running/jogging may not be appealing to you or is not practical for you.

Other Great Exercises to Lose Stomach Fat

Best exercise lose stomach fat
Swimming is another great exercise to lose stomach fat.

Okay, so maybe you aren’t a jogger/runner, and you have good reasons for not being one. That’s ok. There are several other great exercises to lose that stubborn belly fat.

In my humble opinion, the next best exercise to lose stomach fat is swimming or water aerobics.

Swimming is a very low impact exercise.  So if you have joint issues, muscle issues, or arthritis, swimming may be just the thing for you. In addition to being low impact, swimming also provides resistance.

It is a great way to get aerobic exercise, and will also allow you to get a great fat burning workout. A side benefit is that you can gain definition in your arms, legs, and stomach area with consistent effort.

Water aerobics can also be very effective. This entails walking or jogging, along with various arm movements in a pool utilizing the pool water resistance for an extended period of time. This is ideal for those that don’t know how to swim, or don’t like to swim.

If you don’t have your own pool, many gyms, YMCA’s, and other workout clubs do have pools that you can use to swim, and many will also have water aerobics classes.

Of course, you will have to pay a fee, but often it is not expensive, and memberships in these places will usually provide you with other types of exercise at your disposal such as weights, basketball, raquetball, jogging tracks, aerobics classes, etc.

Cycling is another great exercise to burn stomach fat, and is excellent for firming and toning the muscles of the body. The popularity of cycling is at an all time high. There are now many bicycling clubs and organizations that cater to riders of all skill levels.

Muscle Burns Fat

Best exercise lose stomach fat
Since muscle burns fat, weight lifting is an effective fat burning exercise.

If you think you can’t lose fat by lifting weights, think again. Weight lifting is a great way to burn stomach fat, and other types of fat.

With weight lifting you not only get a fat burn from muscle building, but you also get an aerobic workout that burns fat.

You don’t have to lift heavy weight either in order to get benefits. Light weights can also help bring about good fat loss results. Either free weights, or the universal weights (the large machine with various types of weight lifting exercises) will work.

In fact, the old standby stomach fat loss exercise sit-ups, a form of muscle building, can also help you lose belly fat. My favorite sit-up to do is left elbow to right knee, and vice versa sit-up.

If you raise your knee to meet your opposite side elbow as your raise your upper body, you will work both the upper abdomen, and the lower abdomen at the same time.  This will efficiently maximize results in the shortest possible time.

Even an exercise as simple as the Yoga Plank will help you lose stomach fat.  The Yoga Plank position is the push up position with your body resting on your elbows and forearms instead of on your palms, with arms pointing forward on the floor. There are variations of the Yoga Plank.

The idea is to stay in this position for as long as possible, and building up to 5 minutes at a time or longer. This will strengthen the back, the core, and even burn belly fat with consistent effort.

Best Equipment to Lose Stomach Fat

Best exercise lose stomach fat
A good pair of running shoes are worth their weight in gold to a runner.

The best equipment to lose belly fat is a good pair of running shoes, and a good pair of running shorts. If you run longer distances, or plan to do so, I highly recommend you invest in a good pair of both. Don’t skimp here.

A good pair of running shoes are worth their weight in gold to a runner.  Running shorts that won’t chafe your inner thighs will become very important as you increase your distances.

If you want to also be able to run or jog indoors, I suggest purchasing a good treadmill. Treadmills come in different types, sizes, with different electronics and features, as well as different price ranges.

There are many other types of exercise equipment available that will help you lose that stubborn stomach fat.  Ellipticals, rowers, stationary exercise bikes, and stair steppers will all give you a good work out, and help you reach your fat burning goals.

If you would rather swim than run, and your finances dictate, there are now many great exercise pools that can be placed inside or outside the home, and don’t take up too much space.

With some of these pools you are effectively swimming in place as adjustable current and resistance are supplied to provide the same effect as swimming in a lap pool.

Of course, you could join a gym with a pool, but then you may have to deal with crowded pools, unsanitary conditions, and the hassle and time of driving to and from the gym.

If lifting weights are your thing, a set of free weights may be to your liking. There are also universal weights, as well as weight lifting machines available.

If you are serious, a home gym will provide all of the exercise equipment you will need allowing for work outs right in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

Due to the continually growing popularity of bicycling, there are now many excellent choices for the aspiring rider. There are road bikes, cross bikes, and mountain bikes.

If you intend to do some serious cycling you will need to invest in a good bike. And don’t forget your helmet.

Get Moving

Best exercise lose stomach fat
Get moving! The sooner you get started with exercise, the sooner you will lose stomach fat.

The bottom line is that any exercise you undertake will help you lose stomach fat.  You should always start slow, and if your haven’t exercised in a while, it is best to check with your doctor to make sure you are healthy enough to begin an exercise program.

Keep in mind that in addition to exercise you should also eat a healthy diet, and incorporate a healthy lifestyle by not smoking or drinking to excess. This will help you achieve sustained, consistent results.

The best exercise to lose stomach fat, and my particular favorite is running or jogging.  You can also jog inside with the help of a good treadmill, or join a gym or health club with an indoor jogging track.

Other great exercises to lose stomach fat are swimming, water aerobics, and cycling.  Weight lifting due to it’s muscle building benefit that burns fat is another great exercise. In addition even simple exercises like sit-ups, and the Yoga Plank can provide fat burning benefits.

The best fat burning equipment for running is a great pair of running shoes, and running shorts. For indoor running, treadmills will fit the bill.

Ellipticals, rowers, stationary exercise bikes, and stair steppers will also give you a good aerobic work out, and help you reach your fat burning goals.

For swimming, exercise pools or lap pools are ideal, especially if you don’t want to deal with the hassle, crowds, expense, and conditions of a gym or health club.

For weight lifters, a set of free weights or universal weights work well. If you are serious, and you have the room, and your finances permit, a home gym designed to your specifications is the way to go.

Bicycling popularity is at an all time high and for good reason. Cycling allows you to firm and tone your body, and receive a great fat burning workout at the same time.

There are many excellent bikes on the market.  There are road bikes, cross bikes, and mountain bikes. How serious you intend to be with your cycling should determine the level of quality bike your purchase.

Where Buy CBD Oil

Where buy cbd oil
CBD oil is growing wildly in popularity.

Where Buy CBD Oil

With the growing popularity of CBD oil based on it’s many health related benefits, it is now available in many places both online and offline. Where buy CBD oil is important so that you know you are buying the most effective, legal, safest, and correct form of CBD oil, and from the most reputable supplier.

As with many other health products that aren’t regulated by the FDA, Food and Drug Administration, some unscrupulous companies have arisen to attempt to take advantage of the unknowing, unaware, and uneducated public as it relates to CBD oil, and it’s phenomenal growth.

There are several important attributes that you want to look for in your CBD Oil source. I will describe the various things you should look for in a CBD oil source, and why they are important.  I will also recommend what I believe to be the very best source for CBD oil.

Click here to visit NuLeaf Naturals

What to Look For in your CBD Oil Source

 A Seller that is Reputable

Where buy cbd oil
Steer clear of shady, fly-by-night operators. Stick with a reputable seller.

It is vital that the seller you choose has a good reputation. He should make his company name, address, and contact information readily available for you.

A company that you can email, or call to ask questions about the products, or the company itself.

They should not make medical claims regarding their CBD oil products as to what their products can do for you. The only medical advise they should provide is to seek out a doctor for medical advise and direction regarding CBD oil.

A reputable seller will stay within the laws, rules, and guidelines that are set out for them so that they can stay in business for the long term.

A ‘fly by night’ operator will not adhere to these directives or mandates as they are in it for the quick buck, and are not necessarily concerned with maintaining a business for a long duration.

A Seller that uses Lab Testing & 100% Organic Products

where buy CBD oil
It is important that your CBD oil be 100% organic

You want you product tested using Laboratory methods that ensure a clean product with no molds and with no more than .3% THC content.

THC or tetra hydra cannabinol is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana that produces the high.

If you are in possession of an oil that is more than .3% THC content, you may be in violation of your state’s marijuana laws, depending of course, on the state. Technically this would be considered marijuana oil, and not CBD oil.

You also want to be able to see recent lab reports on the products you are buying or want to buy to verify this criteria.  These lab reports should be recent and up to date, and include a batch number that matches the number on the product.

These lab reports will also tell you what turpines and cannabanoids are in the oil, to ensure that you have an ideal full spectrum oil.

Your CBD oil source should have CBD oil products that are free from toxins, chemicals, colorings, artificial ingredients, and other additives.

The growing methods should not use pesticides either in the soil or on the plant itself, and should not utilize chemicals in the growing process.

Organic farming practices also promote ecological balance, cycle resources, as well as conserve biodiversity.

In addition, the packaging/bottles that contain the CBD oil should be designed to block the light that can rancidify oils. This will ensure freshness, and potency of the oil even while exposed to light, and/or after a lengthy period on a shelf.

They may or may not have the USDA Certified Organic designation, but if in doubt, contact them and ask them if their products are indeed organic.

Ask them also to provide some proof that they are organic. This may not be possible for them to provide proof, and may not mean that they are not organic, but it is worth inquiring about it.

A Seller that Provides a Full Plant Extract

where buy CBD oil
Full plant extracts make the best CBD oil.

You want CBD oil that is grown exclusively for the CBD oil content. Your CBD product should be a full plant extract from a high resin CBD hemp plant.

This plant will be richer in cannabanoids and turpines, and ensures that it hasn’t come from the stems and the seeds.

Avoid companies that derive their oil from the stems, and the seeds of the plant. Normally, domestic companies do not extract their oil from the stems and the seeds, but rather from the leaves, and the flower where the higher concentrations of the resin are found.

The medical and therapeutic value comes from the flower of the plant because the flower contains the most resin.

A Seller that Utilizes a Method of Safe Extraction

where buy cbd oil
A safe extraction method is always preferable.

It is important that the provider uses a safe and efficient method of deriving the CBD oil extract from the hemp plant.

The standard of the industry is to use the supercritical CO2 extraction method.

This ensures that it is safe, and it will preserve the cannabanoids and turpines without destroying the active ingredients in the extraction process. This allows for a potent, full spectrum, and pure CBD oil.

There are other extraction methods available, and out there, but as of today, like the butane or propane methods, but the supercritical CO2 extraction method is considered the best.

Supercritical CO2 extraction is non combustible, non toxic, and eliminates traces of potentially dangerous chemical residue.

A Seller that is Domestic

where buy cbd oil
A domestic seller of CBD oil can make a big difference in quality.

Your best chances to find all of the qualities in your CBD oil that are listed here will be from a company that is in the United States of America.

In addition to being located here in the US, it is also vitally important that they grow their product here in the US.

The states that currently produce industrialized hemp, and CBD oil are Colorado, Kentucky, California, and Vermont.

If you buy from a supplier that is located here in the US, but that imports his product from other countries, it is much more difficult to control the growing, processing, storage, and ultimately the quality of the product.

The Best CBD Oil Source

I believe that the best CBD oil source both online and offline is NuLeaf Naturals.  Why is NuLeaf Naturals the best CBD oil available?

1. Third party Verified   Every bottle of CBD oil undergoes rigorous laboratory testing.

2. Full Spectrum Extract  One of the very few CBD companies in the world that produces this far superior extract.

3. Organic and Natural  100% organic and non GMO.  Free of additives, flavors, emulsifiers, and preservatives.

4. Green Extraction Methods  The preferred CO2 extraction method is used to prevent degradation, and retain the entire              spectrum of cannabanoids, turpines, and other nutrients.

5. USA Grown  Extracts derived from therapeutic hemp, and grown on licensed farms in Colorado.
